Identification
In this subtheme of "Hybrid and Switched Systems" we are interested in the question how we can obtain a hybrid system model based on only measurements of input-output data (Identification). Next to applying an existing technique to a practical setup of a pick-and-place machine (thanks to Assembleon!), we provide a comparison of the available techniques in the literature for the identifications of discrete-time piecewise affine (PWA) systems. We also provided a new Bayesian methodology for identification of these systems.
